I’ve applied for the NCC1 form for uc, my question is.. I’m affected by the benefits cap. Will Benefits cap just take it away?
due to the circumstances it’s extremely tough to even make this step due to many reasons - guilt as it’s all documented and if it’s taken away I’d rather not have it in the first place. I’d never want my child knowing about the ncc1 form 😞

I hope someone with more knowledge will respond.
I am sorry that I don’t know the answer to this, but your situation doesn’t seem to be listed as an exemption to the Benefits Cap.

Assuming your child is very young, there’s no reason why they would know, by the time they are older you can be in work so wouldn’t be applicable. As for the overall benefits cap I am not sure that exempts you but returning to work part time would

When you applied and got it signed was there safeguarding concerns and were you referred to social services or anything of the matter
