Concussion and stomach pain

Posting for traffic. Has anyone or their child experienced stomach pains after a head injury? My child was seen at A&E and is fine in
themselves mainly. Since hitting their head they keep complaining on and off of stomach cramp like pains that go quickly along with random nausea. Their ADHD symptoms seem a little worse in terms of being over stimulated at times. I’m not concerned as such as eating and drinking fine, has energy, interested in their usual things, and no worrying symptoms, and I’m not asking for medical advice, but I’m just wondering if anyone or their child has experienced this with a concussion?

Concussion can cause nausea yes. A close friend had it (and vomiting) for a few days afterwards. Head injuries are funny and can last a long time.

Thank you for your reply. The nausea is random and short lived and I was expecting that but not the stomach pains. Water also tastes funny but nothing else. I’m hoping it will settle quickly. I’ve been told it’s ok to attend school and I hope staff will keep a close eye.
