Joint income high 90s, evenly split. Property value 550, mortgage left 270.
Youngest has now started nursery, older one leaves for school in the summer.
Total fees for both are £450 per week, high but on the lower end for the entire area. Includes 1x15 hours and 1x30s hours.

We’re in the middle of selling but likely due to be several months yet due to some conveyancing issues. Tried a new lender due to them having no ERC and was refused on affordability! It’s crazy to me considering we’ve been in this house 10 years, mortgage was significantly higher on lower incomes when we bought but obviously now we have kids.
Am I crazy to think there must be other options or do I need to jump from a £1100 payment to £2100 which is what the SVR would be??

Try a broker, they will easily fund you a lender on those figures.

Find you a lender that should say. And most mortgage brokers don't charge the end customer a fee.
