Account blocked on Vinted

I've been a member for a few weeks and have bought two items - one completed payment and one pending as the item is in transit. I can't understand why they would block me but I have appealed through the link given and just wonder how long a response usually takes please? It has put me off completely! The only blip I've had has been with verifying my phone number - when I attempted it, nothing happened.

Sounds odd. You haven't clicked a link in an email have you? That might not be genuinely from Vinted?.

No it was showing when I checked my account for updates

Usually they send you a message/email and that tells you the reason you were blocked. It happened to my friend and she received a message saying she was blocked because they thought she had 2 accounts (she didn’t, and they rectified the mistake and unblocked her)

Thank you for that. It's saying that they will be in touch now that I've submitted an appeal so I guess I'll just have to wait...

I was blocked once, I think for 'strange behaviour' or something (obviously they used different terminology) and then they unblocked me about a day later, I don't really know what happened there. Then, recently, I was temporarily blocked again because I was typing so fast when creating a 'for sale' item. Apparently the fast typing suggested I was a bot or something. I suppose, in fairness, they must have so many attempted hacks, like all sites, that they need to keep users safe. I was sort of a little bit proud that they thought I typed fast, although actually I don't really. I was unblocked pretty quickly that time, too. Sorry not much help to you, but you too might be unblocked pretty quickly.

Same things just happened to me. Bought 2 items then when i went to click received so seller cud release money..... I was blocked... Bizarre!!! Iv appealed stating all iv done is buy.... Takes 120 hours for a decision. Really stupid app.

Any update on this? It has happened to me!
