As far as I can see it's only the shite dads and they villainize themselves.

It’s because women are sick of men expecting them to do everything. Like, for example, having to drag out of the vagueposting OP what they’re going on about because they’re too bloody lazy to type more than four words.

If you mean the dad who wanted to use his kid's emotions as weapons to threaten his wife who had the temerity to want to divorce him, it's because this is abusive and deserves to be identified as such.
