Collected by a guy from our regular taxi company last night and his screen had “Secret sex vacation wit……” (unknown artist, unknown album, 13min45) showing.

This clearly wasn’t a song I don’t know about.

Do I mention this to the taxi company? It was disgusting to see and think about, but obviously I’m none the worse for it ultimately (and had my husband with me on the journey), but equally, I trust that taxi company and shouldn’t feel uncomfortable around a male who clearly masturbates in his car whilst working, and if I’d been alone I don’t know how I’d have felt.

I already think I know I should report him. 🤦‍♀️

But we have teenage kids who take taxis occasionally and I feel so uncomfortable about it in that respect (not just them but every young woman). It wasn’t even 9pm 😳

I’ve talked to DH and we are going to report to the company. I feel a bit shit as you’re right, they’re not paid well, but dear lord, not watching porn on the job is probably pretty universal.

Licensing at the council monitor what goes on with the taxis. You could ask them for advice.

It was paused for the whole journey. Just sitting there clear on the screen (has the photo been accepted yet)

Edit. For the journey both hands were on the steering wheel. (That’d have been a very different situation that we’d have dealt with then and there!!!)

I think licensed drivers are meant to follow a professional code of conduct set out by the council. It would really creep me out if I was in that taxi on my own. It's not ok.
