To be proud to have got through yesterday?

Today’s the 5th day of my diet. I started Wednesday, March 12th.

Yesterday I was elated to find out I’d lost 5lb since Wednesday! But it was also the most difficult day of the diet. It’s a strict diet so by no means one where you ‘feel full all the time.’ So I was quite hungry in parts but never gave in, did cardio & weights, drank some water and now I’m really pleased I stuck to it.

Some of you on MN have made really supportive comments so thank you very much 🙌❤️

Feeling a bit better today - feeling at a bit of a crossroads in other parts of my life but because diet is going well I feel better ❤️🙌 - as if I’m achieving something!

Well done, that's great! I promise it does get easier as you get used to being back in tune ....

With the repeated posts this sounds like the start of an eating disorder to me, but I'm sure everyone around you will be supportive because you're losing weight and that's all that matters to the world. They were with me. People were complimenting me right up until I was in hospital.

I'd tell you to stay safe but I'd be a total hypocrite if I did.

Sorry you experienced an EA. ❤️

I suppose I was posting for help to motivate me - but also if anyone is desperately wanting to lose weight - to empathise with them how hard it is but say that it’s worth it if you keep going
