Went into a well known store where the racks are sometimes close together.
im looking at clothes and I heard a ‘hello?’ in quite a harsh tone.
I turned around and it was a woman who said very abruptly can I get past?
I said yes but you could e said excuse me.
She muttered something and I said pardon? So went on a rant about how I should respect people older than me (I’m late 40s she was probably mid fifties) and so I said to her it was nothing to do with age.
Then as she walked off she had the nerve to say that ‘You’re privileged cause you’re Asian and that my life was handed onto me on a plate and I’ve had to work hard’
i said ‘Excuse Me??’ and she walked off saying yeah I said it.
She was of black origin but race had absolutely nothing to do with anything- had a retorted back about race which I would never do she would’ve been up in arms about it.
im just seething.
