To ask what to pack for southern Italy?

First week in May?

we’ve visited northern Italy many times - always in May and it’s always rainy and a bit mixed with temp

I’ve had people tell me southern Italy is warmer (Cilento) and dryer but on googling it looks to be the same as the north

I have no idea what to pack for a week! Any advice welcome (yes I’ve posted in travel but more traffic here)

I just use weather apps so you can see what it is likely to be, maybe the week before.

Safer than a load of anecdata from us lot!

I second planning according to the weather app. I frequently visit northern Italy in May and it's always been scorching on every trip.

Baked beans. Don't want you eating foreign muck. 😁

The food is one of the best things about Italy! But now you mention it I might pack a tin of Branston beans just to be on the safe side 😂
