Tate has some questionable views without doubt. Some of the stuff he says at times is good advice for young men, such if you like a girl but she's not interested then move on. Don't try and persuade her, chase after her all the time. Or the fact he didn't want to go to the gym 75% of the time he was a professional kick boxer, but made himself because you need to do things you don't like to achieve the results you want...then he talks about women being property or a status symbol and that men should have multiple wives but not women. The constant referrals to hoes and the whole attitude to women makes my skin creep.

But what he says isn't hate speech, it's a point of view which any one with half a brain thinks is ridiculous, disgusting and degrading to women.

Despite what the current government wants, we have freedom of speech in the uk. I may absolutely hate what you say, but I will defend your right to say it.

What about physically abusing women, as he advocates?

Potentially in the UK he may have but he definitely won’t have in the USA (where free speech is held in the highest of regard).

Should he somehow be held accountable for what he says ? That would be nice. The scum today who has been imprisoned for life, for the crossbow killings, was watching Tates videos before he murdered his ex, her sister and her mum. Because 'hate speech' isn't a crime! The US has free speech laws. The UK is supposed to as well, although they've been severely eroded thanks to the TRA lobby.

Tate is a U.K. & US national who was, until very recently, resident in Romania. The Romanian authorities had been investigating him & his brother for several years, they were first arrested in December 22. Tate has been charged with serious criminal offences including rape & human trafficking, never mind saying hurty words on the internet.

None of these charges has yet come to trial, presumably due to either legal delays or lack of evidence.

Last month Tate was allowed to leave Romania (presumably they wanted rid) & travel to the US where the current political climate isn’t exactly hostile to him. I wouldn’t bet on him being locked up any time soon, or ever leaving the US again.

They didn't want rid that much, they were pressured into it by Trump. If they wanted rid of him, they'd have extradited him to the UK as was requested a year ago for sexual crimes. Romania agreed to extradite but only after they had had their own trial.
