To like this about Donald Trump?

Don't worry this isn't a Donald Trump is hot thread but something I do like about him, well the only thing I like about him is (and like is a strong word)

He literally says what he's going to do, he doesn't pretend to be anything else.

It's like " I'm going to do awful things" and then he does awful things and people are like oh no this is awful?!

Like yeah he literally said, this isn't surprising. You voted for him so you can stay on this sinking ship like the rest of us.

I'm actually really worried about the future but I'm also trying to be calm and not think about things I can't control.

Also I know it isn't as simple as this but it does feel like it at the moment.

Reminds me of when my ex husband told me he was going to kick the crap out of me before he did it.

He doesn't though. He's inconsistent. Then he denies saying x, y, z. Despite it being on his SM. He gaslights everyone.

I think the sarcasm in my OP is being missed .. my bad.

My point is he literally said what he was going to do and then was voted in and people (even those who voted for him) are acting shocked that he's doing awful things.

That's my point, he made no illusions to being anything other than what he is.

I was arguing with another Trumper on a different site who is insisting that no - the stuff he is doing he did not say he was going to do (e.g he promised to protect Medicare).

I cannot like somebody for being an arsehole even if they tell me upfront they are.

I just wish it was like 2020 when he contained his shit show to his borders. Why does he have to drag the rest of us into it.

Like I get it.

I much prefer when he has dick swinging matches and blows hot air and doesn't actually do anything but it's not exactly unexpected what he's doing.

I'm not loving being dragged into either, that's my point really.
