Someone came to my house to start a job today, got on OK but when he left said he'd be back on either Monday or Tuesday. I asked if he'd contact me when to expect him and he seemed quite surprised and a bit irritated, as if it wasn't a normal thing to ask. I don't think I'm unreasonable but I don't think he agrees.
Am I supposed to stay home for two days pining for him?
