My MN is being taken over by Jet2 adverts!!

Now whilst I appreciate that most sites these days need the addition of advertising to boost revenue, why does it have to be popping up from the bottom of where I am scrolling, and require me to ‘x’ off of it to carrying on reading a thread?! Where has this come from, and can it go away again please MNHQ 😅

I am normally pretty live and let love when it comes to ads – like you say, websites have to make money somehow and I’m sure as hell not going to pay to use the site – but these are making it unusable!

@peachgreen whilst it sounds dramatic, I actually can’t even be bothered with fighting with the nuisance jet2 ad this weekend to do my usual MN doom scrolling!! Weekend downtime ruined 😂
