Gut feeling that later turned out to be true.

Any experience out there with anyone having a strong gut feeling/intuition that later turned out to be true?

I once had red flag energy from a guy I was seeing so I blocked him. His pics were sus and he was quite detached, although his behavior during dates was the best. Later turns out he has a whole wife and kid.

It's always good to listen to your own instincts or gut feeling, sometimes it's like a sixth sense, but often it's right.

My first impressions of people generally turn out to be right to some degree or another.

On a walk with my BF and we came to a fork and so I went ahead on one path to see if it was the right one. I was in a good mood, the sun was out and then I suddenly had an awful feeling of dread and felt terrified. I remember thinking, out of the blue, if anyone attacked you here you'd be completely isolated as no-one would see or hear you. Scared I ran back down to my BF. Later that day someone was raped there and the police thought that the rapist had camped out there in hiding for a couple of days. Still gives me chills.
