Hello
my 24 months old only wants milk at the moment . Her molars already erupted so I don’t think it’s that . She is not having breakfast or lunch at the moment but I can get her to eat pasta and some fruits like apples or carrots . She still drinks 500 ml a day . 😞

How long’s she been like this? If very recent it could be a sore throat or hand foot & mouth

3/4 days 😞 she had hand foot & mouth already .
I mean she eats pasta with veggies and a bit of meat but we are in the “no “ phase

You can get HFM again. I would get her checked over by the GP to rule out a physical issue.

Nah, don’t worry just give her what she wants! Next month she’ll only eat apples or something else just as random , just go with the flow.

It’s fairly easy to check if it’s a sore throat or medical:soreness issue - if she eats better after nurofen or calpol it probably is.

If no better then it’s more likely to be fussy phase - quite common in 2 year olds - it will improve in time, keep offering different foods but have a back up that she eats (but not a treat food)

This happens on and off with my 2 year old. Some days she is a wee eating machine, some days very little.

When she is in the mood she can match my portion of pasta, or Shepherd's pie even, or scrambled egg, eat a toastie and fruit for lunch, ask for more.

Then days like today when she ate 1/4 croissant, one strawberry for breakfast, 1/4 tomato and some Greek yoghurt for lunch (like 3 tsp), 1/4 seabass fillet and one baby potato for dinner, one small slice of Watermelon as a snack. But loads of milk.

She was offered lots of other things! Just some days she is not into food and others she is starving.
