What dirt does Russia have on Trump?
It is almost like Putin owns Trump - the about face and re writing of Ukrainian history to follow the Russian view is quite extraordinary or am I missing something

I think it's as simple as everything Trump does, self interest. His only interest in foreign affairs is if there's some personal benefit to him, hence the demand for Ukranian minerals & rare earth metals this time & dirt on Biden last term.

I don't even think he makes the big decisions, it looks like he's given free reign to focus on his pet peeves; paper straws, the flushing of toilets etc. To keep him busy and to create the illusion, for Trump as much as anyone, that he's in charge. While he's signing rafts of executive orders that he's clearly no idea what they are. I've never seen a President having to have them explained to them in public before signing before.

I don't think Russia necessarily have something on him (I won't rule it out).

I think he's driven by power, has a petty and vindictive personality, and is unbound by constitutional, legal and international (post ww2) norms. His re-election was no doubt a dark day for Europe (who, to be clear, have been far too complacent)

I do think far greater scrutiny needs to be given to UK politicians linked to Trump and sympathetic to Putin.

They used their bot army to get him in to power and have probably identified land for him to build Trump hotels and a golf course in Ukraine. They alongside Musk also probably paid off all of his court costs and debts.

Putin is an extreme nationalist and has never forgotten the humiliation and Russia faced after WW2. He was committed to humbling the West. Trump was the perfect mark.

Putin owns him. we’re on the finale season of the USA.

Putin also owns Farage, Le Pen, ADF. I genuinely believe he is secretly the real richest man in the world, not Musk.
