No plans - what would you do today?

On maternity leave with my 3 month old and no plans or classes today. With it being half term I’m imagining everywhere will be very busy. To venture out or stay home? There’s nothing we need and I’m trying to save money, but baby naps better when out the house and I am usually more successful in having a hot coffee if someone else has made it 😂

I’d go to the big shopping centre for a mooch around the shops and a coffe/ cake. It might be busy due to half term but not crazy busy with children coming from all directions!
or a walk around the big park and feed the ducks.
a friend/ relative’s house maybe?

I suppose some of those ideas won’t work if baby needs to be back in cot for afternooon nap. Mine all slept ‘on the go’ so we never had to get back after lunch.

Weather’s nice here: hope you get to enjoy it for a bit

Thank you! That’s a good idea. She will sleep on the go in her pram or car seat and refuses to sleep at home in the daytime unless on me so might be wise to get out

I’d go for a lovely long walk in nature
