Working Abroad as a Tefl teacher

I was in my local centre today and I was advising a young person about teaching abroad when a woman I know very well from comes along and attacks the idea.

The young person was early 20’s, a graduate and wanted a job to travel with…. This small minded bigot( not drip feeding, she’s the reform type and will parrot any opinions of Farage, trump etc) thinks she’s got a right to announce that it’s nonsense so I let rip and out went all my opinions of her etc. Now she’s posting on social media about being attacked….
At the time other people stepped in and intervened as she started fake crying ( you know without tears) to garner sympathy. It all backfired on her as the young lady I was advising said to this nutjob that she would never take advice from someone who’s a bigot and never amounted to anything worthy( I’m paraphrasing as she used much more colourful language)…. What she didn’t realise was that the young lady was recording the convo on her phone as didn’t want to make notes and wanted to listen later to the points and do her own research… she also sent me the recording a few minutes ago…. AIBU to post the entire convo ( the young lady’s idea) on FB so people realises how much of an Idiot she is?

I just don’t wanna give someone who exists and survives on attention, oxygen to make herself a bigger victim.

So unreasonable that reasonable is a dot from where you are standing. People have forgotten not to wash their dirty linen in public. Be classy.

It would be petty and you do not have permission to record her. Tbh by engaging with her and posting you are inadvertently giving her the attention you think she wants!

None of you sound as if you covered yourselves in glory during this incident. And yes, you would be unreasonable to share a conversation that was recorded without knowledge or consent on your socials.

What sort of "centre" is this cos you sound extremely unprofessional and yes, you would be unreasonable to post a recording. If this is a professional set up you could be sacked and rightly so

What sort of centre is this and are you and the other woman employed there?

I mean, her politics sound awful and very far from mine
