Another Mother's Day where the clocks go forward

Just seen that Mother's Day this year coincides with the clocks going forward so we lose an hour's sleep.

Am thinking that Greenwich Mean Time is a secret misogynist!

You’re not losing an hours sleep unless you need to be up at a set time. If you don’t, you’re just losing an hour of your Sunday.

But yes I will no doubt need to be up at the same time for kids football!

It's one hour. Which we've already had in October to be fair.

I'm with you. My lads are grown now but I still remember the frustration as our routines and sleep were messed around with twice a year. Especially as my little one never slept past 5am, so would wake at 4 when the clocks went forward, and be ready to go . . .

Yes but clocks went back then. We gained an hour. And it wasn't on Mother's Day!

This will be a gift for me. I will start to come alive again…

Ideal timing to get dad to be up with the kids that morning if you don't usually split it between you, or if it's your turn. Coffee and or breakfast in bed, even better!

I'm surprised they don't go back on father's day 😂
