I've had ongoing medical issues for the last 18 months. Hair loss, fatigue, changes to my menstrual cycle etc.

I saw a GP just before Christmas and they did bloods for vitamin deficiencies which all came back fine.

My hair is still falling out, my cycles are wild and I've now put on 7lb in six months despite not having put on more than a few lb in the last ten years.

I weigh as much now as I did when I was 9 months pregnant with my DC.

I exercise, eat 1600 cals a day and don't drink alcohol.

I asked for a follow up with my GP and turned up this morning to see a different GP in their place.

Their attitude was awful I felt I had to fight to be listened to and their answers was hair loss is normal. I've lost to 25% of my hair.

Told me I wasn't overweight. Despite me being heavier than I've ever been outside pregnancy. All inside the last six months.

Cycles are within normal expectations. I'm bleeding heavily for a week whereas it used to be a moderate three days.

My period is coming every 21 days and it used to be 28 days.

I ovulate the day after my period stops. So I'm bloated for two weeks at a time.

I also have zero sex drive. All completely normal apparently!

I'm so irritated I started to cry on my drive home. I may be medically "fine" but I feel shit and wanted to be heard

Sounds like the menopause.

I agree! I just really wanted them to acknowledge that this is a possibility rather than making me feel like I'm making it up because I have nothing better to do with my day 😭
