To be worried about my eye

I’ve had a fluttery on and off pain behind my right eye lid for about a week now. It just comes and goes throughout the day and it aches. I’ve just pressed on my eyelid in the area it’s been hurting and a really sharp/scratchy pain came on straight here. I’ve had no vision problems, no injury to the eye. I’m starting to worry that it’s a tumour or something. Does anyone know what it might be, I’ll of course book an appointment at the opticians but for now I won’t sleep for worrying

Eye infections can feel like that. If you feel your cornea burning you need to have it seen to quickly, in case it's an ulcer.

I had the same thing but thought nothing of it. Had my eyes tested today and I have two small bleeds at the back of my eye. Been referred to gp for blood test but the opinion said it best to get tested for diabetes or high blood pressure but she wasn't overly too concerned x
