Adidas - how to pronounce?

So I say Ad-e-dass or Adi-Dass

I believe that’s how you would pronounce it in Germany? Where the brand originates from.

I know how Americans would say it, but apparently in Wales people also say “Add-de-duss”

Scottish and I would say
Add di das

I say Adi-dass but most people around me in Ireland say ah-dee-dus

I've never heard anyone in Ireland say ah-dee-dus. Everyone around me says adi-dass!

I say "Adi-dass" because it's named after Adi Dassler, who founded the company.

I learned about it during a German exam at high school many years ago and it has stuck with me.

A dee das/dus, emphasis on the second syllable.

I say Addy Dass

I'm Scottish and would say Addy-dass but the majority of people here seem to say Ah-DEE-dass

Adi's brother was Rudolph Dassler, or Rudi for short. Adolf and Rudi both set up clothing companies, but Rudi thought that Rudi didn't sound or look right when he was designing logos, so he changed Rudi to Puma and henceforth another famous brand was born.
