Everyone has been ill in the family over the past two weeks. DS first, with a nasty cough and cold that required 3 days off school. He passed it to my mum who came to look after him so DH and I could go to work. Then DH got it, and was off work for two days and “working from home” for another two. Then DD - who’s never ill - got it and had to be off for 3 days last week.
Finally get them all back to school and work (except my poor old mum, who seems to have developed a chest infection ☹️)…and tonight, DS has come home and thrown up violently.
I am not a natural nurse, so if the rest of them get it, I’m running away from home. I am DONE.
