Any jewellers about?

I inherited a lovely ring from my Mum. I know t was bought in Marseille, in 1967. The gold band has a hallmark. No idea about the diamond quality. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me more about it, and can post a picture if someone thinks they can help. Thanks!

Go to a jewler

If you go to an auction house on the pretence you might sell it... they have jewellery experts and will date it and more and give you an approximate valuation too

I did this with a watch of my Mum's which I know is valuable, they talked me all through it, but the guide price wasn't enough for me so I decided to hang on to it for a while.
Just because you ask about it doesn't mean you have to put it in the auction!
