Worked for the same company 18months. Minimum wage. On feet all day. Just after New Year had to get sick note as my feet burning and can not walk for more than 5mins. Was called in with manager last Friday for a 'welfare meeting' where was told to come for 3 days a week (my shift is actually 4days a week) and take paracetamol if I need.
My GP is happy to give me another sick note, as 'those things take time', but my job threatened me with pay cut- even I didn't get paid for the first 3 days and now I am on SSP. My contract says they have to keep me on SSP for 6 months.
What are my rights? I really can not walk or stand for long yet.
Doing stretches, taking painkillers when I need, but feet and heel pain is not improving.
AIBU to refuse 'improved work conditions' (3 day week rather than 4)?

I would recommend reaching out to ACAS tomorrow for some professional advice.
