Recurring virus is this a thing?

2 weeks ago my daughter got a virus, high temp for a few days, headache, bit of a sore throat, tired. Then it went and she was fine. Then a few days later my son came down with it - similar symptoms plus conjunctivitis (he's younger), a few days after that I've come down with it - I have never felt so ill I couldn't move out of bed for 3 days and even now I can only move between bed/toilet/sofa. My temp has not gone below 38.8 even with Ibuprofen and Paracetamol and I'm now on day 2 of antibiotics as my throat is covered in white (I have no tonsils though) but I don't feel any better and my temp is still high.

Now my daughter is all snotty and says she has a headache and has asked for calpol. We've all had flu jabs, wtf is this?! Can is reoccur?

We're a real anti germ family - we take loads of vitamins and supplements and always wash our hands and take off our shoes when we get home. This has never happened before and I'm stumped. Ideas and opinions welcome.

When you're run down it's really easy to pick up the next bug doing the rounds.

Sounds like when we all had Strep A.

Hope you all feel better soon
