Our two DC have been very sick- DD has missed a week of school. DH seems to have caught it
on Wednesday. So I‘ve been juggling my job and two sick kids on my own.
Today, everyone is feeling better. I had to work this morning. Came home at lunchtime to DH huffing and puffing about his ‘intense’ morning- the cat walked muddy footprints all over the bathroom which he had to clean, and he had to look after DC.
He had to make a few phone calls this afternoon. All I heard was him saying how sick he’s been with The Flu. No mention of how sick our DC were. He laid in bed most of the afternoon with The Flu while I cleaned up the house and entertained DC.
Guess who had just gone out for some drinks. I’ll give you a clue. It’s not me.
