I work in a nursery and we have roofers working on the roof. Today, the fire alarm went off and it wasn't a planned drill one. We think most likely the dust set off the alarm. It happened during nap time, so we had to wake many sleeping children to a loud noise and take them out in the cold. Lots of tears, it wasn't nice at all. The roofers were on top, staring and making jokes, laughing at us and the distressed children, they found it hilarious. They also didn't come down when the alarm went off, not following safety protocols. Should they be reported to somewhere? Their manager didn't care.
