Supply Teaching Maternity Pay or Statuary Pay

Hi there,

in the summer we will start trying. I am a supply teacher at the moment and have been for past year. I don’t know if there’s any point getting into a permanent job somewhere just for the pay. I need it which is the reality. But I’m worried that I'm
going to get into a school location that is not going to work aftwrwards. Because once I go back to working the problem will be dropping kids of the grandparents and driving all the way back to work. I don’t know how people do it on working days?

Everybody drops their child off at nursery/childminder/grandparent and then heads to work.

As above - you drop them at nursery/CM etc in time to get to work.

you mention ‘we’ are going to start trying - so why do you need to be responsible for drop offs etc?

How do they do what? Drop their kids to childcare?
They figure out a childcare solution that suits their hours and commute and they split it accordingly with their partner based on needs.
