Hey just wondered if anyone could help

I’ve had pins and needles on and off all day today. It’s only been my right arm, never the left. It’s the entire arm that’s affected but worst in my hand, it literally feels like I’ve got pins and needles in my palm and right down to my fingertips like I’ve been sitting on my hand but I haven’t. It lasts anything from 5-30 minutes or so. I’ve not been sitting in any weird positions, don’t have any tight clothing or hairbands on my wrist and I can’t find anything that triggers it. It just seems to start and then stop itself. I noticed it briefly yesterday but only once whereas today it’s been non stop. Other than that I never usually have this

Im not stressed or anxious at all, im just at work having a normal day. I’m not tired or hungry or dehydrated either

Does anyone know what on earth this could be or what I should do? It’s not agony or anything it’s just annoying. Right now my upper arm feels dead and my hand and fingers are tingling with pins and needles and it’s really annoying me!

I’m young and healthy, don’t have any major health conditions other than a heart arrhythmia but that is under control now

any help would be really appreciated because this is driving me mad! x

Sounds like a trapped nerve to me, but GP or 111?

You need to get medical advice asap.

There are various things it could be but mostly likely it's a trapped nerve, probably in your back or your shoulder.

You do need to get it looked at. Mine was caused by tight muscles in my back and was sorted with some physio. It is a weird and annoying thing to experience, so I do sympathise!
