To never jump start someone else’s car ever again?!

Used my jump starter to start someone’s car this morning and left it with them in case they needed it again. I had to drive into town this afternoon and I’m now sitting in a multi-storey car park with a flat battery and no way to rescue myself 😅 NO GOOD DEED!

If you used the jump starter to help get someone moving this morning, then it has fulfilled its purpose. Why on earth would you then leave it with someone after you’ve helped them - it’s tantamount to saying “your needs are more important than mine”. YABU.

Because her car keeps conking out (awaiting battery replacement) and I didn’t want her to get stuck somewhere. I’ve got cables in my car but there’s NOBODY here.

Then she goes and gets one of her own. You can pick them up for about £20 on Amazon.

What do you mean "awaiting battery replacement". She drives to Halfords and they fit one in 5 minutes!
