Good books about menopause?

When I was pregnant, early years of babies, managing teenagers- so many books. But now there doesn't seem to be a good scientific menopause book. Like developing dairy intolerance is a thing? I never knew...
Is there no "what to expect when you're perimenopausal?"

I know Davina wrote/released one - I think it was called Menopausing, and was written with lots of doctors. Has anyone read that?

I don't know of any good books that have a scientific basis but stop short of being medical text books (plenty of those). When I've had questions about it and specifically about HRT I've used the forum on the Menopause Matters site.

I wonder how many volumes would have to be written to cover What to Expect when you're Perimenopausal?! It's so individual that any book I've ever picked up I've not found particularly relevant or in depth enough about the things that have particularly troubled me.

Expect the unexpected. I never had the traditional hot flush and was dismissed for a long time because of this (this was over 10 years ago), but I did want to kill everybody. It would have been useful to read about the psychological effect of the menopause as there was nothing out there at all. Thinking you're going mad is a very lonely experience.

I haven't but will look it up. Thanks

I just want an evidence based one thats entertaining but covers it all.

@YouOKHun yeah I get that. But I would just like to know ALL the possibilities. And website just end up being more confusing because you read an article, then another then another and you can't easily go back when something happens. .I guess I just love a reference book...
