As a nursery assistant who is unqualified and I was helping with dinner times etc. I am a parent but now I’ve been told I’ll be SEN support to 3 non verbal children with pica and I’ve never had any SEN training. Ainu to feel out of my depth and a bit worried about this?

No, you’re not being unreasonable.

What does it say on your contract? Does it stipulate relevant training and supervision? Is it in your job description that you'll be responsible for SEN children?

I would contact Acas for advice.
