Venicci Gusto 2.0 compatible car seat

Hello,
I have a Venicci Gusto 2.0 travel system and looking to use the adaptors to allow me buy a different brand newborn car seat to attach to the frame. The original seems a bit basic and flimsy in comparison to newer models.

Venicci sent a list with only a few compatible models on it, some maxi Cosi (4 models) and a few others but very little choice. Local shop says actually more fit the system and it's worth just testing. Anyone had experience?

Aibu to think it shouldn't be this difficult to find a car seat?! Would much prefer to just buy online without taking the frame to a shop!

(Already posted on parenting but had no replies so posting here in the hope someone sees!).

@bertiebotts I don't suppose you have any knowledge of this system?

If it works with Maxi Cosi then it should take anything by Maxi Cosi, Cybex, Joie, Britax, Besafe or Avionaut. I answered another similar query yesterday so will tag you there :)

If it's a Venicci Cosmo or Ultralite you have, those are copies of the Avionaut seats and are really good - they are very lightweight but really strong.

There is a different basic Venicci seat which people tend not to like as much. But if it's a Cosmo or Ultralite then you might be best off keeping it.

Thanks so much!! I just knew you'd know:)

The Maxi Cosi ones they've suggested are Pebble, Pebble Plus, Citi and Cabriofix. Avionaut Pixel and Besafe IziGo are the others they have said are allowed. The list seemed pretty sparse and really limits our choices. They've also said it'd work with the Venicci Ultralite so assuming that's not the one we have, it's just the basic one that came with the Gusto travel system a few years ago.

Wll check out the other thread! Thanks again, you're always so helpful when it comes to this stuff!!

@BertieBotts these don't look like the adaptors on the other thread, are they the same?

Yes, the top part that is U-shaped is the relevant bit. The other end goes into the buggy so is different because that's a different buggy.

Amazing thanks so much, will.check you the ones you recommended on the other thread in that case. Thanks again, really appreciate your guidance!
