That's brilliant! I imagine that some people on here are too young to know who Mary Whitehouse was. She was a campaigner against "filth" on TV. She was a bug bear of the BBC. Many comedians pointed out that she and her husband must have made a point of sitting down to watch all he "dirty" bits in TV shows because the day after they aired she would fire off letters to the Beeb saying how thoroughly disgusted she was. She apparently found an ally in Margaret Thatcher. My username is tongue in cheek as I am of a rather more liberal bent - at least, I hope so.
