I believe a lie of omission is still a lie if it's designed to deceive. Do you?

Yes because it's deception. If the person knows you would react in a certain way/do something different if you knew, etc then of course it.

It is a lie, but to me it would depend on what it was about. I didnt eat the last piece of cake, not bad, or no I didnt sleep with her are very different scenarios... I would want them to replace the cake. I love cake.
