Rotavirus jab - unwell after 5-7 days?

Posting for traffic as i didn't get a response when i posted under a different topic. My 5 month old had his 4 month jabs 10 days ago, including the rotavirus one (we live abroad, slightly different schedule than NHS maybe, not sure). He was a bit subdued and his reflux was a bit worse for 3 days. But then in the last 7 days his tummy has been getting worse and worse, he's really upset when feeding, is pooing non stop and has a really nasty diaper rash.

Is this the effect of rotavirus jab? The first round at 2 months made him very poorly but that was immediate. Would the diarrhea not have started right away or does it take a while to affect him? Or is it a random stomach bug? Anything I can do to help him?

No older siblings, it's just me and DH so can't think where he could have gotten a virus.

I keep him out of the nappy as long as I can in the day, and I am very diligent with nappy changes, now only using water instead of wet wipes but his bum looks more and more sore. I use nappy cream too. He SCREAMS when you go to put a nappy on now.

Still weeing too so I don't think he's dehydrated.

He is breastfed.

Poor baby I'd take him to the doc to be checked out. Also you need the nappy cream in the yellow tube that has silver in it cant remember what it's called but Google should tell you.
