Which is better and why?

Going to buy one for dd but both have great selling points, would be interesting to hear views please?

Thank you.

I had this dilemma. I went with Annabel in the end. Can't really remember why. One of the reason's was she looked less scary 🤣

Haha thank you!

I agree baby born does look quite scary especially without a hat on!

Is it that Baby Annabel is soft bodied and Baby Born hard bodied?

That does ring a bell actually!

Tiny treasures

Newsenmum · 20/01/2025 21:12

how old is your child? And I agree do you want soft or hard body?

onwards2025 · 20/01/2025 21:13

Baby annabell me 100%, her features are softer and there is something about them that mesmerises littles girls. Mine adore them still at an age I thought they would have grown out of them. We have had baby borns along the way too but none of them have been as loved as the Annabelle dolls, I do buy bits of accessories from baby born sometimes though it's same manufacturer so same sizes etc

CB2611 · 20/01/2025 21:19

My DD has a baby born and a baby annabelle and baby annabelle is played with so much more as it is so much more interactive

ScattyOnlySomeOfTheTime · 20/01/2025 21:19

Anabelle

babyaorb · 20/01/2025 21:42

Thank you all so much.

She'll be 8 so might be the last doll which is why I'm putting lots of thought into it!

She won't mind if it's soft or hard bodied.

Thanks for the Tiny Treasures mention, I'm going off to Google.

Baby Annabelle all the way. I may used to walk around with her on my shoulder when I needed a cuddle😂

darlingsweetpea · 20/01/2025 21:48

@babyaorb we have both, but my daughter who is coming up to 6 has moved onto Our generation dolls. They're from Smyths toys and slightly bigger and do more age appropriate things. There is also a brand in Argos, I think designer friend or similar which is cheaper but the same size.

We had Annabelles (2 for twins) but decision was for the least creepy looking.

fluffyblanky · 20/01/2025 23:26

My girls have both and the baby Annabel's get played with much more.

babyaorb · 21/01/2025 13:35

Thank you all- looks like Baby Annabell is the most preferred!
