To be really pissed off at Instagram - they've trashed my feed

Just that really. What used to be nice squares is now squished and cut off rectangles. I know it's a first world problem but WHY???

It looks crap.
I'm sure it doesn't make much difference to people who only use it for fun, but plenty of businesses use it and it has significantly impacted on the appearance of their pictures. Never mind those who use it for photography - which is supposed to be it's main purpose (or was). All the landscape photos look horrendous now.
