Joylux?

Not just for more confidence in the bedroom, but for less worry about bladder control...

It's nearly £300, so one would be wary of an expense that was not worthy.

Mixed reviews on Trustpilot.

Apologies to anyone that's offended by this post, as none intended.

Curious about this as well. They are usually in the sale at £200 but even so it's a lot of money if it doesn't do much. Surely if it worked we would be hearing a lot more about it?

i touch sure does the same for a lot less £££.

Hey, thank you 👍
So are you saying that the itouch will do everything that the Joylux claims to do?

Just to note, I perform roughly 250 pelvic squeezes per day in one session, so I'm really not sure if a pelvic floor exerciser will enhance what I've achieved so far?

I'd like to think so, because I really hate "losing it", when my partner has me in fits of laughter, but at the same time, I have to race to the bathroom 😱

Question, I have the pelvic floor weights…is it enough just to put them in or do you have to squeeze them as well?

@MyMyMySharona I can't say for sure but it seems to me the main difference is in marketing. The Joylux one seems mainly aimed at enhancing sexual response, more than improved bladder control.

The itouch is clearly aimed at bladder control. I used it, and it made a real difference, and from the many positive reviews I'm not alone. Certainly worth a try, before paying hundreds.

I would squeeze them as well. Nothing to lose, though you might ache a bit after for the first few times.

"Just to note, I perform roughly 250 pelvic squeezes per day in one session, so I'm really not sure if a pelvic floor exerciser will enhance what I've achieved so far?"

@MyMyMySharona Yes, there is a difference. The device has a setting that sends waves that sort of stimulate / desensitise the area, which helps urge incontinence, as well as stress. If you do squeezes / lifts at the same time, it all helps.

Have you been recommended to do that many? I only ask because my pelvic physio said that I shouldn't do too many at once because it can make the muscles tired and less effective (can't remember her actual phrasing - it was several years ago). Are you doing a mixture of short squeezes and longer holding squeezes?

Yes I do a hold squat, for x amount, then alternate with the normal squats.

I does sound a lot, but I started with just thirty, then over a long period it time, increased the nbit by bit.

I’ve not suffered any negative consequence’s, and I’m happy now to stop at that number.

it’s pretty amazing to think that quite a few years back, I broke my pelvis, so it cool to be able to not have trouble coz of that incidence.

Like I said to another poster, I really think that it should be built up slowly, and even then, only to a level that YOURE comfortable with.
it’s not wise to aim for somebody else’s target or comfort zone.

Do take care

Oh absolutely - I'm sticking with my 30 three times a day (when I remember). I use the NHS squeezy app.

BlondeMamaToBe · 20/01/2025 22:42

I actually had a bladder and bowel nurse offer to give me one of those devices but I had already bought my own. This was a few years ago now but they may still be available on the NHS.
