Does hair stop being choppy after a few washes?

Had my hair cut yesterday and I'm devastated.

3 months post partum and 9kg heavier than usual which bigger boobs than usual, it was so long and thick. The hairdresser didn't listen to me and took too much off the length (doesn't cover my boobs as much now). I said I like dramatic feathering but she's angled the scissors too much away from face and now it doesn't fall in front of my neck as much.

The feathering is really choppy because she did that angle scissor technique rather than cut them in.

If I wash it, will the choppy blunt ends soften?

I'm speaking like I've never had a haircut but we go away in 2 weeks and my long hair was all I had!!

I can’t speak for your specific style, but my hairdresser cuts my hair differently every time. At the three week stage it looks pretty much the same as before. Like you, I have thick hair.

The hair looks the way it looks because of how it was cut and styled. It will look differently if you wash and style it yourself but the cut itself won't change.

Try washing it and then blow dry it with your head bent forward as far as it can go
