Amersham or Berkhamsted secondary school options - where to move?

Looking for advice on Amersham or Berkhamsted secondary schools options and where to move? We have 3 sons with twins going to secondary in 2026. We'd ideally prefer a state secondary but are open to independents as well. I commute into Old Street for work twice a week. I am now trying to get my head around the secondary school situation and how the two locations compare in terms of school options. I also know I need to start planning for 11+ and entrance exams. Looking for knowledge and advice.

You're quite late if you wanted to tutor for 11+? Your sons will sit this September. We're in Bucks, but about 10 miles from Amersham so probably not looking at same schools.
