Little dippers - is it worth it

Hello, I recently started swimming lessons with my 5m old and wondered what other people’s experiences were like. My child was okay for a little while but hated the transition out of the water. The environment at little dippers feels really chaotic with changing rooms where several babies are screaming. Given the cost of 6 sessions at £120 and my low income on maternity, is it worth it?

Sounds awful! I would save your money for something you and your baby enjoy.

Yeah always find the getting dressed bit most tricky - it's always chaotic as they're all cold!
When you can get them in a towel hoodie having a snack is the most helpful then you can quickly get dressed and sort them out

But if you're not enjoying it don't go to lessons every week. Most important at this age to make them feel happy in water so bath time with splashing, jugs, washing hair and face etc

Yeah I remember the getting changed part being so awful that it made me dread it a bit. I'd always get baby changed first and then quickly change after. Once theyre a little bit bigger and can have a snack while you change it gets less miserable

120 quid isn't worth it.

Take them swimming to a public session and do the same stuff. Much cheaper. Wait til they can eat too for change time.
