I’ve seen it at least three times today-
“Me (35f) and my husband (40m)”

It’s very Reddity.

It's a Reddit thing. Most of their posts are like that and it's migrating here

It drives me mad.

Especially when they say "I (32f) and my father (63m)".

Yes, I was kind of able to work out the sex of your father without your help, thanks.

I don't mind the age so much as often someone will ask how old OP is but the sex thing grates on me when it's obvious - DH (34m) - thank goodness you pointed out your husband was male. Irrational rage every time

Maybe in addition to AIBU there could be a "fuck off back to reddit" channel?

I offen see posts asking OP age so it makes sense to state it sometimes.

I think it’s only useful for kids because it can give some context but completely pointless apart from that.

I don’t know why but I always assume that those posts are AI.

I tend to assume they are AI generated too.
