Plus size ladies, comfortable belt? AIBU

AIBU to not want jeans that by some miracle fit round my larger middle to end up wiggling down my bum, together with granny pants, exposing my arse crack to all those in the self checkout tills at Asda?

Sorry not sorry, posting for traffic.

I am a size 22-24 and have finally found some comfortable jeans, it's not that they are too big but clearly I need a belt but haven't worn a belt for many years!
Can anyone recommend a comfortable belt that doesn't dig in, maybe a stretchy one?

I use an "invisible belt" - also sometimes called a "no buckle belt". It's elasticated, goes round the back but instead of buckling up at the front it fastens over each of the front belt loops on my jeans. No digging in on my stomach when I sit down & also no desperate fumbling to undo it when I'm desperate for a wee! Plenty of different ones available on Amazon.

I like these style, available super cheap from shein or similar. They don't last forever, but the clasp is smallish and slim and everything else is elastic. Very good on jeans or work trousers, doesn't feel like I'm being cut in half when I bend down or have to squat.

Very random but when I was a 20/22 I struggled to find any belts that fitted, I came across one in The Range of all places. I’ve always had a big tummy and never liked belts but I get what you’re saying, it’s not to keep the pants up, more in place.

I’ve been seeing adds for Halara pants which I’m considering trying. I bought a pair of elastic waiste pants from Matala before Christmas, they are so comfortable and I don’t need to think about a belt. Currently a 16/18.

I use to occasionally wear maternity jeans and pants which I found comfortable.

Feel the same! My 20 size trousers are falling and I need a belt but I have memoeries from when I was 14-16 that belts were digging in my stomach and I hated it.

Another fan of the invisible belt that fixes onto the belt loops. Incredibly comfortable and great for my larger sized jeans
