To want someone to crack my back

Like those YouTube videos where a chiropractor realigns someone’s whole body. I feel like I could really use it.

has anyone had this done?

I saw a few of those YouTube videos too then I did more research and read that it's really not a safe practice and can cause a lot of damage to your spine.

When I was a teen I struggled with back pain due to scoliosis and a chiropractor helped so much with some serious cracking! He literally straigtened out my spine (it's still got a slight curve but I am so much more aligned) over the course of a year or 2.
But having read so many horror stories now I am not sure I would let my child go to one in the same circumstances.
Sometimes my neck feels really tight and I wish it would click/crack but because I now have rheumatoid arthritis nobody would dare do that kind of manipulation on my joints!
Definitely not an unreasonable wish for you 🙂

Not my whole back, but the bit between my neck and shoulder that had given me problems for years.
It sounded like a shotgun going off, but felt so much better straight away. Several years later it’s still good.

I know it’s not good for me but sometimes DH gives me a reverse Heimlich when I’ve been in a desk chair all day and honestly, it’s up there with sneezing when you’re desperate for one…
