To love my cat

I'm 45yrs old, DD is now grown and flown the nest, and it's me and the two cats at home. She says I'm unreasonable to treat them like my children. I say she's unreasonable I shouldn't 😅

They cost me way less, they do their own thing. I don't have to get babysitters. Aibu to say the cats are best? 😅

I adore my little floof! I get back from a holiday today and all I can think about is snuggling up to him tonight... if he's forgiven me for leaving him

Of course it’s not unreasonable. I adore my dog.
