Think hours have been cut without telling me

What would you do? One of my days has been took of the rota without notice and without letting me know. I’m presuming because they have took on more staff. I spoke to them and apparently I’m not in for working this day but no one has let me know.

Have you been working more hours than you're contracted to? That's the only way they can do that really. I'd assume rota being changed is their way of letting you know, unless you were hired for that day originally.

I was asked if I wanted to take on a new role with more hours and an extra day. I’m still doing the extra hours on my working days but one day has been cut

What does your contract say?

They never actually drew me a new one up. They just said would I like these extra hours and how many days would I like to work. My manager said I could up my days from 3. So I said I could do 4 and she said that was fine. But now they have taken on new staff I guess I am no longer needed for that extra day, but this hasn't been communicated to me, I have just been taken off the rota

Who does the rota. Have you asked them?
