Maybe it's because I'm half way through life and never quite made sense of these 2 incidents. OK one I think was my Dad, but here goes.
I'll start off with the first. Happened around 20 years ago when I was back home for holidays from uni. Took dog for a quick whiz around. Was living in a different country then, and I was coming back I saw a man and woman near the ground floor lift area where the bike rack was. They looked much smaller than usual and not like people, but people. They were looking in my direction but yet not looking at me. They looked fearful and looked like they were hiding from something. Dog's hackles went up and he growled. Mind you he lived till he was 17 and Id never see him react the way he did ever again like he did that night. I almost wanted to go up to them to ask if they needed help but instinct told me to run. Me and dog bolted. About 20 minutes later my mum came home and I asked her if she saw them and she said no. I went down to take a look with her and there was no one. Maybe it was a trick of my imagination or something but the sense of fear I felt was something I've not since encountered. The dog was definately spooked.
The second incident was 3 years ago when I accidentally left a candle burning in the living room after all of us went to bed. At about 4am I heard a shout in my sleep. The candle was almost burned down. It was in a candle lantern (no glass holder) and if I had not woken there would have been a fire. I swear it was my Dad that shouted as I felt his presence when I woke up.
