To ask for recommendations for curtains and blinds?

Posting for traffic at this time of night please!

I've just moved and the previous owners helpfully took every single curtain and blind. I want to get nice stuff, can afford decent quality but obviously would prefer not to spend loads more than I need as I need so many.

I've looked at curtains/blinds to go and I'm not feeling inspired. Where do people use that's good and have some interesting designs? The house is quite plain and boring so I'm after fairly bold and dramatic stuff, but hate stuff with birds with a passion and would like something other than just flowers if possible.

Any suggestions please?

Shutters, always shutters!

Britannia Rose do a wide range of fabrics from different designers and make them up to your requirements:

I'd never heard of them, thank you, some ace options there.

We use Dunelm for our M2M curtains & fabric blinds, wide range of fabrics and excellent quality.
Weren't so impressed with their shutter blinds in our last house so when we moved we stuck with them for the fabric items but ordered our shutter blinds from a local company.

As you said, quality costs.
We spent over £10k on window coverings when we moved in to our NB.☹️
No complaints though.

I really like La Roudete for curtains. Dunelm do good blinds.

We’ve got curtains from Dunelm and Roman blinds from Blinds2Go. I refuse to have Venetian or shutters, because they’re such a pain to keep clean. After ten years of them in the last house, no more. We have roller blinds in the kitchen and bathrooms.

They can have a wipe if necessary and the others get a vacuum with the hand held.

Thanks all! I really can't afford £10k so I might have to do it in stages. Will check Dunelm and La Roudete.

I've just had some Perfect Fit blinds fitting and I'm happy with those.
